Ceza (real name Bilgin Özçalkan) (pronounced jeh-ZAH, meaning punishment in Turkish) is the most commercially famous and influencial Turkish Rapper. His albums have featured many artists includingSezen Aksu,Tech None, Sagopa Kajmer, Dr. Fuchs, and his sister Ayben. His song titled “Holocaust” was featured in the film Crossing the Britge: The Sound of Istanbul by Turkish German directorFatih Akın, and was included on the official soundtrack. I know that he is a lively legend.

Cartel was a Turkish rap group(1995-1996). It contained three seperate groups that Erci-e, Karakan, Da Crime Posse. In Germany, 1995, the group recorded their debut album that is Cartel then received popularity in Turkey and Germany. They had an interview with MTV Germany and explained that their mission was to introduce the world to Turkish music.In 1996, the group had a fight, split up and went separate ways. Their debut album was banned in Turkey. I think Cartel is legend.
